I mean, look at Jackie and Franz! Like most of their “discussions,” they are moments from chasing each other around/starting a fistfight. ;) IT’S TRUE LOVE
…and yes, Franz’s hair is that magical. It was like Vegeta-height when he was first introduced, but it was scaled down a bit after that (I mean, he would take off his racing helmet and the hair would be immediately standing perfectly again. Really?) Most doujinshi tend to try and make the hair more realistic. :P

Original Goldfish are awesome :D

FAILING MISERABLY ON ALL COUNTS

Saving money on my nerdity anyway I can
So yeah, realized that since I still live IN Japan, I could actually do some shopping around for my nerdy shit. Cancelled preorder for Dragon Quest 25th Anniversary slime at HobbyLink Japan, and ordered it at Amazon JP for 2000 yen cheaper. With free shipping. Woot :D
-
If you want the Dragon Quest 25th Anniversary stuff, Hobbylink is having a preorder saaale

One of my crowning achievements when I was a kid was when I was around 7-9 years old, participating in a gaming contest in an arcade in Idyllwild playing Bubble Bobble, where I was the youngest participant by at least 3-4 years, was one of the only girls, and the average player was closer to 16.
I got Second Place. 8D
EAT THAT, DISPARAGING TEENAGE BOYS
On that theme, today’s bead sprite is Bub in his arrival bubble :D
-
Almost forgot,
A Babble from Dragon Quest (VI, specifically, I didn’t have enough shades of green for VII)
and
A Rabite from Secret of Mana. :)
-

Also speaking of Dragon Quest, I spent 6000 yen on the new DQ kuji, and I STILL didn’t get this! WAHHH I WANT IIIIT
-
25 years of Dragon Quest…
…why do I feel so old? xD In other news, THIS WILL BE MINE I DON’T CARE HOW I HAVE TO GET IT

-

Okay, so with Blair and Jim, it’s a little more marked of a height difference. But still, it’s not like Blair is 5’ or something. xD;
-
I suppose I should post some pictures, on principle. :P
Diagnosis Murder, starring the ever-amazing Dick Van Dyke. The aforementioned Jesse is on the left, Steve (played by Barry Van Dyke, Dick’s son) is behind him in the grey jacket.

Maaaaaan
Ever had one of those moments where you realize you coulda been going to something nifty/was near something awesome for years and you find out aaaages later?
YEAH.
I have failed at fandom. And it’s not like a place I wouldn’t dislike going to, either…
I mean, I’ve seen mentions of “Moonridge” on various Sentinel fics, always listed as charity fics, but it never hit me to see what in the world it was. Turns out it’s a zoo in Big Bear, which is like a 50min drive from my house in Cali. They have a Sentinel day almost every year and everything, usually with at least Garett there, if not Richard too. WTF. At least I’ll be back in time for the next one, which appears to have been postponed to 2013. Siiiigh.

Figures
The last day of a nine day vacation is the day I get kinda productive (in the necessary way, not in the “Ooo, Perler beads!” way) xD Dumped most of the boxes out of my storage closet; realized I mailed my PS3 box home like 6 months ago, so I’ll probably be taking it with me instead of sending it with the bulk move stuff going out probably a week before I leave. Also discovered that I have a box big enough to fit my Guitar Hero guitar box (and my Wii Fit box woot.) :D Now I just need to find a box that will work for my framed puzzles (all One Piece xD.) Alsoalso discovered that my giant poster tube is a tiiiiiiiny bit too small to fit my One Piece rug. I WILL MAKE IT FIT.
Finally put my space heater away, it’s staying pretty toasty these days. Going to Tokyo to invade Akihabara, the Slime Store, and Tokyo DisneySea one last time before I head home. It’s gonna be expensive, but awesome. :D
Speaking of money, I’m at counting yen for milk and gas levels, but I just need to hold on for another week, I get paid on the 16th. Fukuyama/Hiroshima was waaaay more expensive than I planned it to be, but well, what’s new, right?
-
Yeah, I need to do more of these things, they look awesome as wall decor. :D
-
One Piece Perler bead sprites, done as a late birthday gift for my pal Sammi. :) They are currently temporarily pinned to the wall with sewing pins until I can give them to her xD
