Hawkeye is finally done, after sitting headless for months on my sewing table. xD Now to finish Black Widow! :)

In celebration of getting a job and our new supercenter opening suddenly, I bought a Hawkeye. Now to figure out what to do with him xD

For a pretty cheap toy, they did surprisingly well on his facemold :D

Hi! I’m glad you like them! I don’t take commissions for them, as I tend to be very slow at sewing them as I tend to hop between projects. ::laughs:: All the ponies I’m working on are for sale, including Coulson. At this point, I’m taking offers for him. If I don’t get any satisfactory offers by the time I at least get Hawkeye and Black Widow done, I’ll be either ebaying them or posting them all for sale on my Etsy.

WELL THAT WAS ENJOYABLE.

My wonderful friend Erica over in Tokyo helped me get a few things from the Avengers preorder. :) They got here today, and she even sent the bag they came in! :D

The BRUTUS came with an 8 postcard set, and Hulk was a standard preorder phone strap. As I have the Iron Man (JP Iron Man 2 preorder) Thor (duh) and Captain America (ditto) Kewpie phone straps, I asked her to pick up the strap I don’t have one of in some form already. :)

The magazine and the postcards are pretty darn nifty. :3

My shelves look like a shrine to manga and Dr Pepper. xD Finally got BW’s can, now I should rearrange them better. I realized it looked like Hulk was about to smash the Statue of Liberty after I took the picture. Bad Hulk.

The wacky Dr Pepper bottles are from Japan and date from a few years back. They’ve switched back to a more normal design last I checked.

The Avengers, as a whole, was a movie about them coming together as a team. They each needed to find themselves and figure out how they could work together to work as a team and defeat Loki and the alien threat. But on another note, it was also about each of the individual characters. Most importantly, it was about Bruce. Bruce and how he comes to be accepted into the group when even he doesn’t feel like he should be there. But Tony teaches him otherwise. He believes in him, he pokes and prods at him for fun to show him that he’s not afraid, and he treats him like a human being.

What irks me is if I see fan art or merchandise that has just Hulk, Iron Man, Cap’n America, and Thor.  It’s like, where’s Black Widow and Hawkeye??  :(

The collection of headless ponies is growing~

I was actually going to put Nick together today, but the cutie embroidery on his left side asploded, so I have to recut that piece ^^; 

So Coulson (who is actually a pale brown/dark ivory, not white) got done instead.

Slightly Hiccupy Avenger-y Patch Giveaway!

So I’m having fun making Avengers-inspired patches and stuff. However, as I test out the designs, I end up with patches with hiccups that look mostly okay, so I feel bad about throwing them out (lots of thread go into these!) xD; So you will not be receiving perfect patches. Of the two above, the Hawkeye hiccup is tiny, the Black Widow one a bit more obvious. xD; 

These patches are sewn on black twill (white for Cap,) edges are fray-checked, and Heat n Bond Lite is applied to the back.
